Day Workshops
Expressive Still Live
In this next sequence of workshops, we shall explore how we see light falling onto objects and make sense of three dimensions, surface texture and space around us. Many artists throughout history have used the subject matter of still life to explore life, light, colour and even death. Beginning with drawing, composition and colour planning you will use a wide variety of methods and mediums to make expressive still life, atmospheric images.
The last two weeks of this course it’s over to you. You will plan and develop your own expressive artwork in the medium of your choice.
